NSDL LAUNCHES ITS WEB SITE

With a view to provide information about depository services to a large number of investors both in India and abroad and also to keep them posted about the latest developments at and updated information, NSDL has set up its own web site. The address of the site is www.NSDL.co.in.

As on July 1, 1998, 219 issuers have entered into agreements with NSDL to get their securities dematerialised. Amongst these, dematerialisation facilities are available for shares of 199 corporates.

Companies that have signed agreements recently are Apple Credit Corporation Limited, Krishna Texport Industries Limited, Greaves Ltd., Marico Industries Limited, Rhone Poulenc (India) Limited, Shree Krishna Polyester Limited, Shree Krishna Petro Yarns Limited and Zuari Industries Limited.

Equity shares of ITC Limited (R&T Agent: in-house) have been made available for dematerialisation since June 30, 1998. The other companies whose shares have recently been made available for dematerialisation are:
