Visit by delegates from Tanzania to NSDL during May 2012
Application for Account Closure of Beneficiary Account & Clearing Member Account i.e. Annexure Q has been replaced by new Annexure Q and Annexure QA. Participants have been informed that they may use the existing stock of Account Closure forms till the stocks last. However, in case of closure of account where securities are transferred to any account other than Client's own account, Client will have to submit duly filled Delivery Instruction Slip signed by all account holders alongwith Application for Closing an Account.

NSDL has made arrangements with NISM to facilitate staff of Participants to get certified for NISM-Series VI Depository Operations Certification Examination (DOCE) as per SEBI requirements. A training programme is conducted by NSDL for Participant's staff followed by NISM-Series VI-DOCE online test conducted by NISM. In May 2012, NSDL conducted 13 such training programmes at Ahmedabad, Chennai, Kolkata, Mumbai and New Delhi which were attended by 612 persons nominated by various Participants.

Clients of the above mentioned Participant can now avail of the facility of submitting various instructions through SPEED-e facility.
This takes the total number of Participants who have subscribed to SPEED-e to 114.
