Monarch Project & Finmarkets Limited joins NSDL as Depository Participant (DP)
Monarch Project & Finmarkets Limited has been made operational as a DP on January 9, 2006. It will conduct its depository operations from Ahmedabad. The DP Id allotted is IN303052.
This takes the total number of operational DPs to 222 and the total number of DPM set-ups to 296.
The following DPs have subscribed to the SPEED-e facility of NSDL in the month of January 2006:

Clients of the above mentioned DPs can now avail of the facility of submitting various instructions through SPEED-e facility.
This takes the total number of DPs who have subscribed to SPEED-e to 59.
Launch of Pool to Pool instructions for Clearing Member (CM) Users on SPEED-e
At present, CM Users can avail the following features, both on interactive as well as on a batch submission mode on SPEED-e :
- Delivery to Client
- Delivery-out to Clearing Corporation
- Inter-Settlement
NSDL is now pleased to announce the launch of transfer of securities from one CM Pool account to another on SPEED-e. This release is expected in the 2nd week of February 2006. This facility will be available in an interactive as well as batch submission mode. New file formats for this are displayed on SPEED-e website (https://eservices.nsdl.com).
In terms of SEBI Circular No. SEBI/MRD/DEP/Cir-2/06 dated January 19, 2006, in respect of companies issuing shares by way of Initial Public Offer, the concerned ISIN under which the shares would be credited will be suspended at the time of crediting the shares and will be re-activated at the time of commencement of trading on the stock exchanges.
This has been intimated to DPs vide Circular No. NSDL/POLICY/2006/0004 dated January 30, 2006.
